The Tyrolean houses were established thanks to King Frederick William III, who decided to grant part of his land free of charge for the construction of homes for Tyrolean immigrants.

In less than two years, 56 houses were built, and the new settlement was named in honor of the Austrian valley of Zillerthal. The houses are characterized by beautiful wooden balconies with intricate patterns and lush flowering vegetation. The houses are scattered throughout Mysłakowice, and in one of these houses, there is a small museum that tells the story of the Tyroleans' arrival in the Jelenia Góra Valley.
