It is associated with the story of Hans Rischmann, who was called the prophet by the locals in the 16th-17th centuries. He supposedly predicted, among other things, the fire in Jelenia Góra in 1634, the collapse of the town hall tower in 1739, and World War II. He could not only foresee the future but also fly, which earned him the title of the Flying Prophet. He was accused of colluding with the devil, yet his prophecies were still heeded. On the way to the summit, we will pass his Hermitage (Rischmann's Cave), and at the very top, we will find the remains of the pedestal of the Otto von Bismarck monument.
